Academic World Championship in Lodz

Never heard of before! The first World University Cheerleading Championship, and it will be hosted by Poland! Teams from universities around the world will compete in front of a global audience in ��d�.

We would like to invite you to attend this exceptional event, which is sure to be thrilling and colourful. The championship will be held on 5 and 6 October this year. Students will compete in the following categories:

  • freestyle pom (pair and team)
  • jazz
  • hip-hop
  • team cheerleading (female and mixed teams)


The event is organised by FISU (International University Sports Federation) and its Polish member ? the Academic Sports Association of the ��d� University of Technology. Many countries have already confirmed their participation, including Hungary, Canada, Korea and China. Members of the organisational committee for the World University Cheerleading Championship consist of activists of the Polish Cheerleading Sport Association: Ma�gorzata Wro�ska, and member of honour Piotr Pat�aszy�ski ? President of the Association.
