Cheer All Girl/Cheer Coed Category

Is a category referring to historical cheerleading beginnings – cheering. Presentation should contain elements such as:

  • cheer/chant
  • stunt (lifting 1 flyer)
  • pyramids (2 or more stunts connected)
  • basket toss (throwing from basket position)
  • tumbling (sport acrobatics)
  • dance/cheer jumps (mandatory only in All Girl categories)

Cheer / Chant sequence is made without music. Its goal is to encourage publics for cheering and answering for teams cheer / chants.  During this sequence teams can use some props like tubes, flags, poms, tables, pieces of fabrics, which should be moved outside the mat after the team finishes this part. The rest of the presentation is performed with music and without props.

Group Stunt All Girl/ Group Stunt Coed Category

In this category teams are presenting only  stunts and basket tosses with music. Athletes can also use some tumbling elements for stunts mounts and dismounts.

Partner Stunt/Coed Category

In this category female-male double is presenting stunts and lifts. An athlete can also use tumbling elements stunts mounts and dismounts.

Cheer Solo Category

Is a category in which an athlete is presenting his/hers gymnastics and acrobatics abilities with music. Choreography needs to contain:

  • tumbling
  • cheer jumps
  • cheer/chant
  • arm motion

Pom Dance Elite Category

In this category poms must be used through at least 50% of choreography time. Themes of music choreography and uniforms can be used. Very important part in this category are using arm motions, synchronization of the team, visual effects and variety of dancing techniques keeping in mind, that those techniques should be uplifting. Movements of the athletes should be very precise, sharp and clean. Choreography have to be energetic, rich in arm motions characteristic for cheerleading and entertaining for the viewer.

Pom Dance Premier Category

In this category poms must be used through at least 50% of choreography time. Themes of music choreography and uniforms as well as arm motions are mandatory here. Very important part in this category are synchronization of the team, visual effects and variety of dancing techniques keeping in mind, that those techniques should be uplifting. Movements of the athletes should be very precise, sharp and clean. Choreography have to be rich in elements corresponding with the theme, energetic, filled with arm motions characteristic for cheerleading and entertaining for the viewer. Coach when applying for the competition must give the tittle of the choreography/ theme on application form.

Drill Dance Category

Dance category in which march position changes of the team, formations on the floor and arm motions are the most important. Arm motion is focused on visual effects involving poms characteristic for Cheer Freestyle Pom.
